The brief descriptions below are designed to familiarize you with our staff’s training, professional credentials and work experience.
David Pinsky, D.D.S.
David A. Pinsky, DDS has over 20 years of experience in the practice of dentistry since receiving his doctorate from the University of Maryland in 1983. In 1986, he graduated from the Academy of Functional and Straight Wire Orthodontics and was inspired to pursue orthodontics via continuing education over the next 15 years. His group meets regularly every three months to keep abreast of the latest developments in orthodontic procedures. In recent years, Dr. Pinsky began to envision developing a center for excellence where all the various elements of dental care could be brought together in one location. In 2001, Dr. Pinsky opened State of the Art Dental Group located in King Farm in Rockville, Maryland. His vision is now reality as a skilled staff of clinical practitioners provides excellent dental care, ranging from white fillings and orthodontics to implants, dentures, and maxillofacial surgery.
Rustin M. Levy, D.M.D, M.M.Sc
I am sincerely interested in helping you reach and maintain optimal dental health. My way of doing that is to make your office experience one filled with comfort, confidence, and compassion. I want your time at the office to be pleasant, rewarding and an educational experience. I will work with you as a team to achieve these goals.
Dr. Levy is a graduate of Tulane University and the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He received his Certificate in Periodontics and Masters of Medical Sciences in Oral Biology at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He is Board Certified in Periodontics and is recognized as a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
Ivy H. Webb, D.D.S.
Dr. Webb is a graduate of The University of Tennessee College of Dentistry and General Practice Residency program at the Memphis Veterans Administration Hospital. There she gained post-graduate training in complex cosmetic treatment planning, surgical procedures, and all aspects of general dentistry.
Committed to offering her patients the latest materials and techniques in esthetic and family dentistry, Dr. Webb is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American Dental Association.
She and her husband, Luke, have recently returned from Heidelberg and Wuerzburg, Germany where Luke served as an Army physician. Dr. Webb practiced as a civilian dentist for the Department of Defense, offering American soldiers and their families the highest quality dental care while they were serving their country overseas.
Dr. Webb’s personal interests include SCUBA diving, hiking, cooking, and traveling
Our Staff
We are a highly trained and friendly staff at State of the Art Dental will always put you at ease. From a cheerful greeting to a warm goodbye, we are always there to serve your needs. Our primary focus is to make your visit a pleasant one. Our front staff will gladly answer any question you have about scheduling and financial issues, while our clinical staff can inform you about any procedure and how to make your appointment more comfortable.
Office Events
The first hot summer days of this year, our office spent it at Kings Dominion in VA. Our families and friends of our staff gathered together at the gate and started our full day of fun on numerous thrill rides and some kiddie rides. Dr. Pinsky led us to all the crazy rides like the volcano, the rebel yell, the anaconda, of course the new water park. Needless to say we were all exhausted at the end of the day but what fun it was. We always thrive to be the best group in the industry. Not only we work well together, we also play together. Here are some pictures that we like to share with you. Have a wonderful summer!!
